- Does anyone know of a current part like the old Western Digital
- TR1863/1865. It is a stand alone UART, i.e. pin programmable
- with separate physical recieve and transmit sections.
- The 1863 appears in the 1984 Data book but WD now only make all
- singing/all dancing ones that require a microprocessor to talk
- to them (load registers etc).
