- The following info, saved a while ago, should help those that want
- some FREE 8051 software ...

- -- Summary: Is there an FTP mirror of the Signetics '800' number BBS ?
- -- Lines: 15
- --
- -- There is a subset of the Signetics BBS available by FTP
- -- from lyman.pppl.gov, as previously mentioned in this group.
- -- However it is (and probably will remain) only a part of the
- -- software available to owners of Modems in the USA who have
- -- access to the Signetics machine. As a non modem owning
- -- European, I would like to ask if someone would mount a
- -- complete mirror of the Signetics 8051 archive. It would seem
- -- to be in the interest of the chip producers and chip programmers
- -- (in the educational sector or otherwise) to do so.
- --
- -- Can you hear me, Signetics/Philips ?.
- --
- -- Cheers
- -- Ian H.
-
- There's all sorts of goodies on there, including a version of TINY
- BASIC that will run on the barefoot 8051 (with 128 bytes of ram).
- As I remember the 8052 BASIC was there also.
-
- Have fun ...
-
- Cheers
