- I have some ideas for cellular test equipment but need to
- decode the data messages from a cellular telephone.
- Does anyone know of any ICs to implement a base station data receiver?
-
- Signetics makes the UMF1000T (Data processor for Cellular radio) that
- is used in a portable cellular telephone. Can that chip be tricked
- into acting as a base station receiver?
-
- Calls to Motorola resulted in either: what is cellular or we only make
- the chips for our own development.
-
- I know that Curtis makes a cellular test set. Has anyone taken it apart?
- It's too expensive to purchase just to disassemble.
