- I agree with the other responders, last time I worked on a TEMPEST
- project the standard was classified. I didn't have clearance either,
- even though we were designing the circuit. One of the guys from the
- lab went out when the thing was tested and he said they really could
- tell what was going on - Our project was a monochrome display for
- gov`ment PCs - they got the images off the screen just from radiation.
- We finally decided the spec was 3 dB below invisible :). BTW, if I'm not
- mistaken the TEMPEST spec changes with technology, so as new snooping
- technology becomes available the spec becomes more and more rigorous.
