  18. Mike In PADS-PCB, select the SETUP menu (F2) and then PARAMS (F4).
  19. The item called REAL WIDTH is the key to what you want (the default is
  20. 250 mil). Any trace less than this (or maybe <= ) are displayed as
  21. single lines, greater are displayed to scale.

  23. I usually set REAL-WIDTH to 11 so that 10mil outlines are displayed as
  24. just lines but 12 mil tracks are drawn to scale.

  28. (maybe from you?).

  30. One option available when placing components manually is to place
  31. _classes_ of components, rather than just all or individually with the
  32. mouse.

  34. Under the PLACE menu, select MOVE and then type c* to place all the
  35. capacitors or r* to place all the resistors ...  I can't remember
  36. where I saw this but it certainly wasn't obvious (at least to me :-)
  37. (I'm assuming here that you've read in a netlist).
