- Yes, a radar detector can be detected. The local oscillator produces
- F1, F2, F1+F2 and F1-F2. Although a very small amount of energy is
- transmitted, it can be detected. In the UK where a licence is required
- to operate a receiver this is the method they use to find illegal
- TV sets.
