- If your input signals are low frequency I have just the
- thing. AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) has the ZPal, Z for zero
- power. When none of the inputs swich for a period of time,
- usualy around 50ns, the device goes into its power down mode.
- It will remain in this mode until an input transition occures.
- While in this mode the outputs are held at the same state as
- before the power down.

- While in standby mode the current is <15ua. As the input
- frequency increases so does the current. The supply voltage can
- range from 3.84V to 7V.
