  26. Actually I don't think it's worth the trouble if you don't have very good
  27. reasons. You'll probably loose much quality of the sound, because the phono
  28. amplifier tries to RIAA-correct the input signal. That is, it will amplify
  29. the bass and attenuate the treble.
  30.   Another problem is input sensitivity on the phono input. It is much lower 
  31. (let's say about 2 mV), and the CD-player may give up to 1000 mV.
