  26.   True; there are also US companies making dRAMs and, I think, even
  27.   flat-panel displays.  So for you purists, let me rephrase it by
  28.   saying,  why are Japanese workers enjoying the bulk of all the 
  29.   jobs producing these kinds of products?   Why do so many US companies
  30.   find it necessary to look to Japan for these products?  If we want
  31.   more US jobs we should start making all those things we currently 
  32.   import from Japan.   Why can't US com[panies make those things 
  33.   cheaper and better than the Japanese?
