- Does anyone out there have experience with running after having cartilage
- removed from one's knee? I tore some cartilage (medial meniscus) this
- summer and had it removed in Oct. The Dr. said he only removed as little
- as possible to relieve the pain, and leave as much as possible for the
- cushening that the cartilage was supposed to provide. Even so, he suggested
- that I not run (so did the PTt because it could still cause arthritis .
- They told me that before arthroscopy that they used to remove ALL of the
- cartilage and that you would definately get arthritis.
- I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been thru this.
- Thanks,
