- Are you sure to eat and drink a lot the night before a long run?

- Why don't you try eating a Powerbar half an hour or so before you run your
- next long, slow one. If it makes you ill, then you'll have eliminated that
- as a possible solution. If you don't get ill, that may be the answer. I've
- eaten Powerbars before running and haven't had any problems, but I usually
- opt for running on an empty stomach. A bagel is another possibility, but I
- find them a little heavy before a run.
