- Sure you have. 6 weeks before I ran me first marathon (in may 91) my
- longest runhad been around 10 miles, never more than 15-20 miles a
- week and I was unable to train reasonably due to knee-problems.
- Previous training period: 5 month. Compared to that you are in tip-top
- shape.

- Sure it was hard, but isn't it always? And I had sore knees for a
- month afterwards, couldn't run for two month; that part I can't
- recommend.
