- Gee, sounds like the pilot was also a reckless builder. How does
- an airplane "fall" out of an inside loop? Lack of airspeed perhaps,
- or too much elevator throw and it snap-rolls out. Did the pilot
- continue to hold full elevator after the plane was already in a
- snap roll? I've test flown a GP Decathlon with an OS .70 4cycle
- and had no problems whatsoever with the airplane. The low time
- pilot who built the plane also has no trouble flying the plane.
- This is his 2nd powered plane, but he has built many gliders and is
- an excellent builder.
-
- I have also seen 2 EZ Decathlons fly with no problems whatsoever.
-
- I would guess the guy at your field got doesn't follow instructions
- well. The plane was probably set up tail-heavy or with way too much
- elevator throw.
