  13. I spent 16 months building mine.  Not because it was hard to build, but
  14. because I built three other planes at the same time.  :)
  15. I don't have any complaints about the kit.  Great Planes makes the best
  16. kits I've ever built.  Actually, there are some things I would change.
  17. I'll explain those in a minute.
  18. The one thing I've noticed with Great Planes kits is that they tend to
  19. be heavy, so watch the weight.
  20. I must admit that it was the best looking plane I've built yet.  Unfortunately,
  21. it didn't survive the first flight.  I let someone more experienced than
  22. me take it up for the first time.  Slight crosswind from the left.  It
  23. comes of the ground and starts doing a perfect Dutch roll.  I start yelling
  24. at the pilot, but before he can gain control it hits, wing tip first.
  25. The wing was fine, but it tore of the cabin area of the fuselage.
  26. After much soul searching and questioning the meaning of life, I determined
  27. that the pilot pulled it off the ground too soon.  With the short tail
  28. moment and the flat wing, it should be a snappy model.  It will be rebuilt,
  29. but with a stronger structure holding the wing on.
  30. So go for it.  It builds into a really nice looking plane.
