  12. I'm hoping someone can help me with this...

  14. I am working ona project to collect auto speed data and to do this
  15. I need an optical speed sensor that will work in serial with the speedo
  16. cable.  I know that some cars use speed sensors to control the cruise
  17. and I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of one
  18. tha uses optoelectronics and is _very_ sturdy and reliable.

  20. Essentially what I need is a sensor that will give me the RPMs of the
  21. speedo cable (this is the easiest way for me to collect data since it
  22. will be used on different types of vehicles.).
