  12. I have an '84 Isuzu Pickup with the 2.0 l 4cylinder engine. When I 
  13. start the engine after it sits for a while, there is a lot of valve
  14. noise and the oil light stays on for 10-20 seconds. Of course it is
  15. worse the longer the engine sits. After 4 hours it is only for a 
  16. couple of seconds, but on a cold morning it is pretty bad.

  18. I have tried thinner oils, thicker oils, factory filters, PTFE additive
  19. and am now using Mobil 1.

  21. The engine runs pretty well after it is warm, although it makes a little
  22. noise the first block or two sometimes. IT doesn't use much oil and seems 
  23. to have reasonable power.

  25. I don't really know the milage on this truck, the meter says 73K, but the
  26. seller admitted he changed the dash and claimed it had about 90Kmiles.

  28. I wonder how long this engine will last. I don't really want to invest 
  29. much in the truck as the only thing it has going for it is that it's
  30. never been wrecked.
