  50. John, I don't think ANYONE would argue that you are among the 90th
  51. percentile.  Your tastes, interests, style and character are pretty
  52. uniquely your own.  Please note that I'm not in any way denegrating
  53. you, but instead pointing out what you have said in the past... not
  54. too many people do things the way YOU do.

  56. I really don't know anything about the folks that you hang around with,
  57. but I'll go out on a limb and guess that the average mileage of all your
  58. friends' cars is somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 miles.

  60. There are folks that, like you and I, tend to keep cars longer than the
  61. norm.  That's not too hard to accept, but we shouldn't project our minority
  62. opinion upon the rest of the populace.
