- I'm helping a friend who is replacing a head gasket on a 1979 Datsun A14
- engine. When he talked to the machine shop he is going to have check the
- head for flatness and dip it, they mentioned that this engine had for some
- of the years it was manufactured came with brass valve seats, that had a
- tendency to come out. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If so what years
- had them. Any other wisdom about the idiosyncrasies of this engine would
- be appreciated.

- Thanks
