- Sounds plausible. Another thing to keep in mind is that Nader discussed
- long out of date vehicles in his book, Unsafe at Any Speed. In fact, I
- always wondered exactly how the 'vair wound up as thesole villain from
- that book. Of course, EVERYONE that comments on safety issues HAS read
- the book, right? Anyway, the precedent is there. I guess the solution
- to the GM truck problem is simple-- dont become involved in a collision
- that may damage your fuel tank ;-)
