  14. I know this has probably been discussed before, but in light of
  15. the new MD threads I was hoping someone could explain how 
  16. music compression algorithmswork (in regards to MD and DCC)? 
  17. In particular, what's lost in the compression, do they cut
  18. out certain frequencies or just pieces of music.

  20. Also, what does "5-lossy" mean.
