- You absolutely don't want to use batteries! They are SO expensive
- here...

- You can buy universal adapters here, or you can use your US adapter
- connected to a voltage transformer. You need not worry about cycle
- differences. If you plan on the former, consider that many CD makers
- use special plugs on their adapters so that you have to buy theirs!
- (YES, I'M SPEAKING ABOUT SONY!) You can, snip the plug from the US
- adapter they sell you in the US (as I did), or pay through the nose
- and buy a European adapter from the same company, or buy a CD player
- that uses STANDARD plugs... The choice is yours...
