- Personally, I gave up on receivers and went to seperates.... MUCH better
- sound... but if you're going to go the receiver route, I can't think of a
- better cost/performance company than Kenwood.

- Sony, Panasonic, and others seem to fill up their receivers with tons of gizmos
- (like built in equalizers, etc), but Kenwood actually eliminates some of those
- features in exchange for slightly better sound and better build quality.

- $300 seems reasonable for that receiver... I think it was somewhere around $450
