- Last night, I needed my fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire that has been
- determined to be an arson of our dog's house. Luckily, my parents discovered
- the fire before our home became involved. According to the arson investigator
-
- FD if it had gone 10 more minutes, our home would have become involved. Flames
- were reaching 20 feet off the ground.
-
- The extinguisher that failed was a Kidde Fire Away 110. The extinguisher had
- all of its inspection tags and pins intact. 1 A 10BC. I purchased it only
- 1 month ago and it was made in September of 1992.
-
- Has anyone else had a Kidde extinguisher fail to operate?
-
- What brand extinguisher do you recommend?
