- On our new Pierce/Lance Rescue Pumper, we keep our stokes basket in a
- diamond plate case above the hose bed. This covers most of the
- left half of the bed; however, to rerack the hose it is only a matter
- of pulling a few cotter pins and lifting the case off. With two
- people on the bed we can set the case on the right half, or with
- more we could take the whole thing off. We keep a total of 1600 feet
- of 3' hose.
