  13.     My department is looking towards preliminary research for a
  14. new rescue pumper.  I know most of the basic configurations but I
  15. am looking for something more.  As we try to keep our pieces similar
  16. to help with training, this vehicle will be a 10-man cab with a
  17. top mounted pump.  Since we don't want the pumper to be over 35ft
  18. or so, we need to be creative about some of the storage compartments.
  19. What I am really curious about, is storage above the hose bed.  I have
  20. seen some departments that have compartments above the hose, but
  21. it seems to close off the bed completely.  Any ideas or help would
  22. be much appreciated.  Thanks.
