  25. Not trying - succeeding.  In CA, it is virtually impossible to train
  26. with live fires.  The main force behind the ban seems to be the 
  27. regional air quality boards.  Other groups have had their say too.
  28. Enviro-weenies (unfortunately) abound here in the land of fruits and
  29. nuts (and I'm not talking about the stuff that grows on trees).
