- Let me assure you that great skepticism is in order here. The noise
- level from the 2600 types is at least as high as from any other place.
- Just because someone signs a letter with a pseudonym does not mean that
- he is any kind of quru or god that has exculsive knowledge of the inner
- workings of anything.

- While I am no fan of Prodigy, all this "upload scare" is a bunch of
- horsefeathers, spawned from some very immature, paranoid people who
- have delusions of self-importance. Naturally you can expect some
- anecdotal evidence to be created to reinforce the fantasy. People who
- really do understand how DOS works pretty well debunked this some time
- ago, so now there are the "flying saucer sightings" so to speak, to
- keep it alive.
