- At least one person had trouble deciphering my last message.
- Here is the meat without the fat:
-
- The way to stop a nonprogressive argument is for one side of the argument
- to stop arguing. Since the Japan-bashers (or I guess the protectionists
- might be more appropriate) probably would not do so, I am asking the other
- side to stop. Arguments get very dull when the other side does not
- respond, effectively putting an end to it.
-
- Now I said this so that I would not have to see these arguments on
- sci.electronics and misc.entrepreneurs. My asking does not apply to
- other newsgroups where they might be more appropriate
- (maybe soc.culture.usa and soc.culture.japan). Please edit the
- "Newsgroups:" line when you reply. That's all.
-
-
- OK, time for a little humor (maybe a bit insider-ish), based on actual email
- correspondences:
- Me: "Why did you post this in sci.electronics?".
- Him: "Because the Japanese make electronics".
- :-)
