  39. It's also bullshit.  When a file is deleted on a MSDOS machine, the file
  40. pointer is just freed up to allow another file.  The data is still on the
  41. disk.  The prodigy allocates a large file on the hard disk to act as a
  42. buffer for downloading screens of stuff to your computer.  There is always
  43. a good chance there will be data in the file that is left over from old
  44. deleted files.  And no, they don't upload it.

  46. What is true, is that everything that is posted to Prodigy is read by
  47. censors.  If they don't like it, they delete it.

  49. I wouldn't take Prodigy for free.  It's a toy network.
