- you may want to reconsider if you are planning on keeping the car for
- a while - a lot of cars today have a tendancy to start having major
- problems after 70K, on my Taurus, for instance, since it hit 70K (its at
- 74K now) I've replaced the air conditioner pulley (which is zigzagged and
- snaked around on the engine & is a bear to get at - it went out while we
- were on our way to Salem - luckily we had a friend in Red Bluff - who has
- a shop (Weedetr) who helped get a new part and replace it - we then
- turned the repair bill in to Ford and they paid it all) - last week the
- power steering hose and something else went out (the hose wasn't
- covered, but the rest of the work was)
