- Read thi instructions FIRST (RTFM). 4 zinc-carbon batteries will give
- you a nominal 6 vdc. 4 nicads will give only 4.8 vdc, which may not
- be enough to run the player. Try alkaline batteries. One set will
- last many times the interval before the nicads need a charge.
