  12. Next month will be the 10th anniversary of when I passed my driving test.
  13. And now I am finally buying a car.  I have rented more cars in the last 5
  14. years than I even want to think about.  I have had a couple of fender
  15. benders in them too.  I was always covered by AMEX as my primary insurer
  16. since I had no insurance.   Now things are about to change.

  18. So I want to apply for a Diner's Club card.  I have several trips scheduled
  19. for next year, and if I get into a fender bender, I don't want to have to 
  20. notify my new California auto insurer (which will probably be State Farm).
  21. Last time I heard DC was still primary.  Hope its still true.

  23. Anyway, I havent seen a DC application in months.  Does anyone know if they
  24. are running any promotions for new card members?  Maybe like 2000 FF pts 
  25. or something like that?  Let me know by e-mail if possible.
