- Program: GNU who
- Version: in shellutils-1.8
- System: AIX 3.2.2 on IBM RS/6000 model 220
- Environment: running Xwindows under xdm
- display device is an IBM XStation 120
-
- Description: The command ``who am i'', when run from an xterm window
- launched from an xdm-controlled X windows session, gives no output.
- The same command run from an aixterm window, or from an xterm started
- up under xinit, gives the correct result. The command ``who'' with
- no arguments, and the command ``whoami'', work correctly from either
- type of window. The IBM-supplied who program works correctly in all
- cases.
