  13. Hello everyone,

  15. I'm trying to get emacs-18.59 up on a VAX with VMS 5.5.
  16. I've followed the installation procedures, and I've managed to compile
  17. and link. When I run BUILD.COM which runs temacs.exe and dumps temacs.dump
  18. I get an error when temacs loads the Lisp files:

  23.   Loading isearch...
  24.   Loading replace...
  25.   Pure Lisp storage exhausted

  27. What does this mean? I've tried increasing quotas on my VMS account. There
  28. is plenty of memory left in the system, and on page and swapfiles.
