  21. Please, don't take it back!  The thing I most hate in emacs is that
  22. you must hit ESC to terminate a search.  One time over two i hit
  23. either a RET, one of the arrow keys, or one of the PgUp, Home and so
  24. on keys.  Since I use a vt100, those keys send a sequence beginning
  25. with ESC: the search is terminated and the rest of the sequence is
  26. inserted into the buffer.  Sometimes I don't even notice that until I
  27. get a compilation error!

  30. two years now and I use it daily.
