  13. When I try to load large (>1MB) text files, such as Roget's Thesaurus
  14. or calc's texinfo file, demacs crashes.  Am I doing something wrong,
  15. or is it a problem with demacs?  BTW, Vernon Buerg's LIST program has
  16. no trouble with these files at all.

  18. One other thing: any solutions to demacs's file locking problems that
  19. occur when you add the "-9" to SET TZ=CST-9???  The "-9" makes the
  20. time correct but screws up something else.  This is mentioned in the
  21. demacs FAQ, but I have seen statements here that imply the "-9" can be
  22. made to work.
