  13. The Washington Area Unix User's Group will hold its monthly meeting on
  14. Thursday, January 7th, 1993, at the Marriott Hotel, 8028 Leesburg Pike,
  15. Tyson's Corner, VA. Munchies & yakking at 6:30pm, presentation at 7pm.

  17. Christopher Stone, President & CEO of the Object Management Group, is
  18. the featured speaker. OMG is a non-profit international corporation
  19. dedicated to establishing industry guidelines and object management
  20. specifications to provide a common framework for distributed application
  21. development. OMG is funded by over 280 information system vendors,
  22. software developers, and users in the information processing business.

  24. This is a FREE event; *note* that the meeting is not at NIH as it has
  25. often been, and is not on the usual Tuesday night. The old NIH location
  26. is expected to be available to WAUUG again starting in February. Call
