  32. I hate to point this out, since I'm one of the major ones pushing Amancio
  33. to do just this (:->), but...

  35. Amancio is under no obligation to do this.  His code and XFree86 are both
  36. available to anyone.  You (collective you - the community in general) can 
  37. always do it yourselves.  People kept asking for SVR3 shared libraries, and
  38. we kept saying "do it yourself".  Finally someone stepped up and did it
  39. (one of the things coming in the next release).

  41. There's no doubt that Amancio and the other folks he's working with are
  42. the best qualified to get this merge done.  But they're certainly not
  43. the ONLY ones capable of doing it.
