- I hate to point this out, since I'm one of the major ones pushing Amancio
- to do just this (:->), but...

- Amancio is under no obligation to do this. His code and XFree86 are both
- available to anyone. You (collective you - the community in general) can
- always do it yourselves. People kept asking for SVR3 shared libraries, and
- we kept saying "do it yourself". Finally someone stepped up and did it
- (one of the things coming in the next release).

- There's no doubt that Amancio and the other folks he's working with are
- the best qualified to get this merge done. But they're certainly not
- the ONLY ones capable of doing it.
