  18. I assume you're asking for X11 *and* unix for your i386 box?  If
  19. that's the case, my recommendation would be to get a copy of 386BSD
  20. and run XFree86 on top of it.

  22. You can get ahold of the stuff you need at agate.berkeley.edu or
  23. gatekeeper.dec.com, among others.  It should be in the
  24. /pub/386bsd/386bsd-0.1/ directory, or something similar.  There is
  25. also a FAQ in the unofficial directory in the 386BSD stuff.  You can
  26. subscribe to comp.unix.bsd for more help.  Hope that answers your
  27. question...
