- I think you should look into the Image family of routines in Xlib. The
- transfer of the graphic image could be done with XPutImage. Rather
- than worrying about the format of a Pixmap (which on the client side
- is only an ID, the data is in the server), you should look at
- XCreateImage and the format of an XImage.
