  35.     Try this in your transfer option for your menu.
  36.     (I presume you are working in a UNIX environment.)

  38.         f.exec switch_window_manager
  39.  
  40.     Where switch_window_manager is a script that kills
  41.     the first window manage then using the Unix utility
  42.     'sleep' or the shell function 'eval' wait for the first
  43.     window manager to die.  Once the first window manager
  44.     is dead, then use the shell function 'exec' to start
  45.     the second window manager.
