  15.     Hi, I am compiling a survey on architecture support for advanced
  16.     visually-oriented applications

  18.     Some aspects of this survey are the following:

  20.     1. Support for graphics function in general-purpose processors.
  21.     2. Sp. purpose coprocessors that offload work from main processors.
  22.     3. Design choices in actual workstation systems ranging from Xterminals
  23.        to advanced modeling/visualization engines.

  25.     Some related areas include design of laser-printer engines / Postscript
  26.     interpretors.
