  13.     getty: cannot open tty03     errno 6
  14.         init:  /dev/tty04: getty keeps dying    there may be a problem
  15.  
  16.    My comput(SCO XENIX-386 System V) keeps flashing the above messages
  17.    on the console terminal(a Multiscreen Terminal). The login prompt
  18.    doesn't comeon other multiscreens of the console. 
  19.    Other terminals of the system r working fine.

  21.   Can somebody please let me know what is errno 6 and what is the remedial 
  22.   action?

  25.   I tried all the options given in the manual, for eg, resetting the
  26.   terminal(Ctrl J stty sane Ctrl J); but of no avail.  In fact, I 
  27.   shutdown the system and rebooted, but the problem still persists..

  29.   Any clues ?  Your help is greatly appreciated...
