- You should have /dev/ block and character special files for fd196ds15
- and rfd196ds15 for a 5-1/4 floppy installed as a "second" drive (drive
- 1). Also, files for 360K and other formats. /dev/install1 reads the
- format of a preformatted disk and adjusts to what it finds. If you do
- not have these files, man HW fd shows the floppy driver layout with
- major and minor device numbers---use mknod to create them if you do not
- have them.

- These should have been created when you installed the system. The
- drivers are defined in the kernel, if you are missing anything it is the
- /dev/ special file nodes.
