- It would seem, Julian, that you're not only useless... you're WRONG too!
-
- As it happens, the Tandy 6000 was the latest thing before Tandy/Radio-Shack
- decided to go with the i80x86 (IBM-PC) stuff. It runs a Motorolo 68000
- processor (yes, the same one that's in the Amiga and the Macintosh), *and*
- a Z80b for communications... And at 8 MHz, this setup ain't too bad.
-
- It also happens that for quite some time this machine was the *leading*
- platform (in numbers), not only for MicroSoft Xenix, but for *any* UNIX!
-
- Your posting was *worse* than useless. It was an annoyance, and could have
- been a discouragement if I hadn't (obviously) had plenty of well-informed
- responses already. If I were to re-post your article to "comp.sys.tandy",
- you'd get a solid flaming for your ignorance and for the flippant way you
- so casually tried to crush my hopes of helping out some school-kids.
-
- So keep your 'mouth' shut unless you know what you're talking about.
- There are far too many Usenet readers who know enough to call your bluff.
- (...and just as many ways to convince your system administrator that you
- really shouldn't have Usenet access anyway...)
