  12.    I have just received a DECstation 2100 (used).  I am having some difficulty
  13. in getting the machine configured they way I would like.  When I first received
  14. the machine, system messages would be displayed in a "message" window.  I am
  15. not sure what happened in the intervening time, but now they show up as large
  16. black boxes on top of all windows.  I would like to get the messages back into
  17. a display window.  I am hoping that someone can point me in the right
  18. direction.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
