  15.    We currently have an Ultrix machine working as a Mail gateway between
  16. our VMS machines and the Internet. This is in place and has been working
  17. for some time.

  19.    I am wondering if there is a way to shorten the address of VMS users for
  20. mail going through the gateway. For example, the address user JOE on VMS node
  21. NODE1 is:  joe%node1.dnet@gateway.umb.edu. I would like to have this just be
  22. joe@node1.umb.edu instead, and still have it all work.

  24.    I suspect I can direct mail to node1.umb.edu to go to the gateway machine
  25. with MX records, but I don't know if it's possible to get sendmail to do the
  26. right stuff with this.
