- I just upgraded my DECstations to Ultrix 4.3, and now I have problems
- with sendmail. There has been some change in the treatment of the DR
- macro (for the general purpose relay host), which I cannot figure out
- how to handle.
-
- If my interpretation is correct, what has happened is that sendmail
- adds my local domain name to the address. My local domain is nbi.dk,
- so when I send to user@somenode.somedomain sendmail delivers an address
- user@somenode.somedomain.nbi.dk to the relay machine. This happens with
- sendmail.cf for as well Ultrix 4.2 as 4.3, so the problem must be in
- sendmail itself.
-
- Mail to addresses that are resolved by the nameserver as nodenames are
- delivered correctly.
-
- Have others seen this problem and possibly found a solution to it?
