- I'm aware of the horror stories of the 3100 serial ports. Let's
- see if somebody can beat this one: If I set the modem with the
- code AT&S1 (DSR normal), everytime the carrier disappears -- for
- example in a uucp connection after the end of the session -- some
- of the windows that are in the background (reduced in size) get
- blown up, the function of the mouse keys change, and who knows
- what else. This doesn't happen if the modem is set with AT&S0
- (DSR always on). Does anybody have a clue about this? Thanks,
-
- Dan.
