- I think you should go back and have a look at the documentation
- for security on ultrix. You have missed the point. Switch you mind back on
- and read it again. There is no extra baggage as you call it for ENHANCED and
- UPGRADE (being the same I might at as far at the shadow password file)
- UPGRADE has the same facilities as ENHANCED just allowing the
- standard BSD password entries to co-exist till the user does a
- passwd command to change the password and upgrade the entry at the same time.
- One all users have changed their password then you are in ENHANCED mode
- and should adjust svc.conf to match.

- If so you,will find that these are optional parts of the added security features
- that came in ultrix4.2.
